Each team member plays a key role in ensuring the church functions at it's best for our members and the Alma community. Learn more about our team and how they share their talents with us.
Pastor Dale and his wife Amy moved to the Alma area from Bella Vista a few years ago. This brings Dale back to his hometown area after over 31 years away. Amy is originally from the River Valley area - Bonanza. Previously, they have served churches in Sulphur Springs and most recently in Cecil.
As mentioned, they lived in NW Arkansas prior to moving back to the area just north of Alma. Dale worked for over 35 years in various managerial roles in the manufacturing realm, while Amy is a para-professional with the Mulberry School District. They enjoy family outings and get-togethers with friends, children, and grandchildren. Dale is an avid reader and enjoys watching his favorite sports teams, especially Razorback and Cardinal Baseball.

Jessica is our Administrative Assistant at Alma Methodist Church. Her husband Larry is a long time Alma resident, and Jessica moved to the community in 2013. Jessica has a B.S.B.A. in General Business through the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She also serves as the Executive Director for the Crawford County Volunteers for Literacy.
Although she loves her work, she and her husband enjoy traveling. They also enjoy camping with family and friends throughout the State of Arkansas. They have two cats, Hermione and Molly, and a dog named Mindy who sometimes travel with them on their trips. Jessica is also an Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals fan!

Bob serves as our Liturgist for our worship services and has been a past Leadership Board Chair. He and his wife Shawn have lived in Alma for many years, raising both of their two children here. We are proud of Bob for his work as the Alma Middle School Principal.

Both Bob and Shawn love to travel, seeing new places and experiencing places off the beaten path. Even though both are very busy, they are always available to volunteer for church and community activities. Bob enjoys supporting the middle school students at their various games, meets, and concerts.

Phyllis shares her wonderful piano talent with us each week for our choir and worship service. She started playing as a child and now teaches piano to students herself. Ron is her husband, and together they a beautiful family of children and grandchildren. They love to visit their kids when they can and spend time spoiling their grandbabies.

Besides taking on the role of our church pianist, Phyllis also works for the Alma Middle School. She does a wonderful job supporting the school choirs and sharing their music with our community. Not only is Phyllis musically talented, she's a great baker!
